Ade Akpona is a conservation professional with over 15 years of experience in conservation project management and leadership positions. He is also the founder of two associations devoted to nature conservation, poverty alleviation, and food security. Ade believes that nature is the basis of life today and for the future. He is also passionate about developing strategic thinking to shape the mentality, vision, and self-trust for young Africans, in order to raise their potential and change the continent. Ade’s civic hero is Thomas Sankara.
