Taiwan
Eddy Lin is the co-founder of the Taiwan Youth Association for Democracy, Taiwan’s first nonpartisan youth engagement nonprofit. Eddy has long advocated for lowering the voting age in Taiwan from 20 to 18, which led to the first-ever national referendum in 2022. He also organizes Youth Presidential Election Forums, enabling young voters to have direct dialogue with candidates. Eddy takes a grassroots, intergenerational, and nonpartisan approach to change while empowering other young leaders and building global connections. Eddy also leads Amazon’s public policy team in Taiwan and serves on the board of the Lee Teng-Hui Foundation, honoring Taiwan's first president, post-democratization. Eddy is passionate about empowering the next generation of leaders to amplify their own voices.
