Ilona Jedrasik is the fossil fuel infrastructure lead at ClientEarth Poland, a nonprofit dedicated to environmental law. She oversees a team of lawyers conducting strategic litigation against new and major coal power stations and mines in Poland. Her team also represents Polish citizens in court to demand ambitious climate policies from Polish authorities. Additionally, she leads advocacy efforts for more sustainable policies. Some of her recent accomplishments include halting the construction of a new, large coal-fired power plant and leading efforts to hold one of the world's largest coal power plants and lignite mines responsible for its long-term climate impact.
