Jonathan Ilicki is a principal at Industrifonden, a Swedish state-founded venture capital foundation that invests in life science companies that positively impact society. Jonathan coaches startup and scaleup CEOs, and serves on the boards of tech companies addressing societal challenges. His mission is to advance health care through scalable science and technology. Previously, Jonathan worked as a physician, conducted research, and lectured on evidence-based medicine. An entrepreneur at heart, he also co-founded a medtech startup, scaled operations for Sweden’s first collaborative digital health care provider, and led internationalization for a major Northern European healthtech scaleup. With a rich and varied background across medicine and venture capital, Jonathan is a systems-level thinker.
