Liza Ateh is head of economic opportunity at Google.org, where she leads their economic opportunity portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. During her tenure, Liza has developed the first comprehensive strategy for Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on digitally upskilling underserved women and youth in remote areas, and fostering a culture of civic engagement across the region. She also organized the Social Leaders Labs, the first leadership bootcamp for community leaders in Central and Eastern Europe, promoting regional collaboration and knowledge exchange. Liza is passionate about mentoring young women and speaks regularly on social impact, digital skills, and philanthropy in the region.
