Beth Pollack is a research scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She leads research on a group of associated but understudied diseases that disproportionately affect women, including long COVID, ME/CFS, dysautonomia, lyme disease, and connective tissue disorders. She is also collaborating on three clinical studies, and leads a new arm of the largest clinical study in MIT history that she helped develop. Committed to social impact, she combines scientific research with her policy and political background to advance national progress on chronic illness and women’s health.
