Derick Dailey is counsel for Crowell and Moring LLP where he handles litigation, trials and investigations, with a focus on State Attorney General, higher education, and racial equity issues.
He was previously senior counsel for the New Jersey Attorney General’s executive leadership team, where he led the Department’s Racial Justice Initiative and Voter Protection Initiative. Derick has also led a project called ARRIVE Together, the nation’s first large-scale alternative response program that deploys mental health professionals rather than police to respond to people experiencing mental health crises. The program has helped reduce use of force and racial disparities in responses to mental health crises throughout New Jersey.
