Ways to give
Together, we can help a new generation of changemakers rise to the challenges of our time—challenges they can help us meet. All we have to do is empower them—to make sure that, as they write the next chapter of our country’s enduring story, they never have to do it alone.

Leave a legacy that inspires.
By including the Obama Foundation in your estate plan, you can help us carry our mission into the future for generations to come.
A bequest can be funded with cash, securities, or other assets, and you can arrange for the Obama Foundation to receive a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a residual balance. You can make changes to your bequest at any time, and your assets remain in your control during your lifetime. The Foundation receives the gift only when your estate is distributed. Charitable bequests are deductible against the value of your estate and may reduce the amount of federal estate tax owed.
You can arrange your bequest simply, by including the following language in your will or living trust:

Some companies may also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. If your employer offers matching gifts, request a matching gift form which is often available through your company's human resources department.
